Who you are
You have a strong background in product management, ideally with experience in managing product roadmaps and translating customer needs into actionable specifications. You understand the importance of collaboration with engineering and UX teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. Your ability to engage with stakeholders and gather insights is key to shaping the product's future.
You are skilled in writing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that clearly outline problems, desired outcomes, and user stories. This skill enables you to communicate effectively with engineering teams, ensuring they build the right solutions. You thrive in environments where you can influence product direction based on market opportunities and customer feedback.
What you'll do
In this role, you will influence and help shape the product roadmap for ArcGIS Hub, focusing on site builder and open data sharing capabilities. You will translate the product vision into clear specifications, including writing PRDs that outline the problems, desired outcomes, user stories, and required functionality for features. Partnering closely with engineering and UX, you will refine user stories and prioritize backlogs to ensure high-quality, iterative delivery.
You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand workflows around site creation, open and secure sharing, metadata, and governance. This insight will be crucial in bringing valuable feedback back into the product development process. Collaboration across ArcGIS teams will be essential to ensure cohesive publishing and discovery workflows between ArcGIS Hub, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS.
