Who you are
You have a strong background in product design with a focus on user experience and interface design β your experience includes creating high-fidelity prototypes and collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and quality. You are driven by curiosity and collaboration, always eager to exchange new ideas and innovate in your work. Your understanding of design systems allows you to create aesthetically pleasing and accessible UI designs that align with established patterns and guidelines.
You are familiar with usability testing and user research methodologies β validating your design work through these approaches is second nature to you, and you stay updated on the latest trends in mobile, web, and responsive design patterns. Your ability to coordinate with stakeholders to identify requirements and specifications is key to your success in delivering impactful design solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will coordinate with various stakeholders to gather requirements for both new and existing features of ArcGIS Dashboards. You will create prototypes and high-fidelity user interface designs that effectively communicate your ideas to developers and product managers. Partnering closely with engineers throughout the development cycle, you will ensure that the UX vision is preserved during technical execution.
Your responsibilities will include driving the adoption of Esriβs design system and collaborating with other designers and developers to maintain platform consistency. You will act as a liaison between design and engineering teams, ensuring that the user experience is prioritized in all technical implementations. Additionally, you will validate your design work through usability testing and user research, contributing to the evolution of the teamβs research capabilities.
