Who you are
You have a strong background in product design, particularly in creating user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into high-fidelity prototypes. You are familiar with usability testing and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that designs are not only visually appealing but also accessible to all users.
You are driven by curiosity and collaboration, always eager to exchange ideas and learn from others. Your ability to communicate effectively with both design and engineering teams allows you to act as a liaison, ensuring that the user experience vision is preserved throughout the development process. You stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies, which informs your work and helps you innovate in your designs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will coordinate with stakeholders to identify requirements for new features and enhancements to existing ones. You will create prototypes and high-fidelity user interface designs that effectively communicate your ideas to developers and product managers. Partnering closely with engineers, you will iterate on designs to ensure feasibility and deliver high-quality implementations that align with Esriβs design system.
You will drive the adoption of design patterns and systems across the platform, collaborating with other designers and developers to maintain consistency. Your responsibilities will also include validating your design work through usability testing and user research, which will help elevate the team's research capabilities.
