Job Description
Who you are
You have over 8 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent roles, demonstrating a strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to apply your extensive know-how of technical accounting and financial reporting standards. Your detail-oriented and hands-on style ensures that you can manage complex accounting topics effectively, including revenue recognition and business combinations. You thrive in collaborative environments, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and timely audits.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support all financial and statutory audit activities, ensuring that all compliance requirements are met. You will analyze accounting and financial reporting considerations for complex topics, providing insights and recommendations to the team. Your responsibilities will also include researching and assisting with the adoption of new accounting pronouncements, ensuring that all impacted users are trained appropriately. Additionally, you will assist with M&A integration activities, addressing technical accounting issues and identifying tax consequences related to financial reporting.
