Who you are
You have a strong background in accounting with a focus on compliance and financial reporting — your experience ensures that financial statements adhere to local GAAP and regulations. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for accuracy, which is crucial for supporting external audits and maintaining quality control over financial transactions.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with finance teams and business partners to provide timely financial analysis — your communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex financial information to various stakeholders. You are proactive in identifying areas for process improvements and automation, enhancing the efficiency of accounting operations.
What you'll do
As a Senior Accountant, you will support the month and year-end close processes for all domestic entities, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. You will conduct monthly close functions, including reviewing and preparing general ledger entries and monthly reconciliations, while also supporting necessary management reporting analysis.
Your role will involve developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices across the organization. You will provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues and transactions, collaborating with FP&A to communicate transactions that impact results and forecasts.
You will also support operational areas that directly impact domestic accounting activities, such as accounts payable and asset management. Your contributions will drive process improvements and automation initiatives, enhancing the overall accuracy and efficiency of the accounting function.
