You are proficient in AWS and have hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker — you've implemented CI/CD pipelines and understand the importance of automation in maintaining system reliability. Your strong background in Linux systems enables you to troubleshoot and optimize performance across various environments.

You possess programming skills in Python or similar languages — you've developed scripts to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency. Your familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform allows you to manage and provision cloud resources seamlessly.

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Esri, you will collaborate with a talented team of DevOps engineers to operate SaaS capabilities across multiple regions on the cloud platform. You will design, implement, and configure monitoring systems to ensure the health of SaaS products, responding to alerts and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

You will manage the infrastructure used for ArcGIS Velocity, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively for thousands of cloud users worldwide. Your role will involve designing and implementing deployment strategies for containerized micro-service components, contributing to the overall architecture and reliability of the systems.

You will also participate in incident management and capacity planning, ensuring that the systems can scale to meet user demands. Your insights will help shape best practices for operational excellence and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
