Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and related platform technologies — your deep understanding of user needs allows you to shape the vision for quality in software. You are a self-motivated team player who thrives in collaborative environments, advocating for automation and quality assurance.
Your expertise in designing and evolving automated test frameworks reflects real-world use cases — you understand the importance of strengthening automated coverage with each new feature release. You are adept at monitoring and analyzing test results, ensuring that software quality meets the highest standards.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and can effectively communicate software issues found during testing — your insights guide the team in understanding where, why, and how issues occur. You are committed to delivering dependable software to users across the globe, contributing directly to the success of the ArcGIS Enterprise portal team.
Desirable
Experience with additional testing tools or methodologies would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile development practices. A background in software development can enhance your ability to collaborate with feature teams and resolve customer-reported bugs effectively.
What you'll do
In this foundational role, you will collaborate closely with product engineers and software developers to test the functionality of ArcGIS Enterprise, particularly focusing on the portal home application and embedded web applications. You will work with feature teams to gather requirements, design, and write automated test cases that reflect real-world scenarios.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing test results, collaborating across teams to ensure software quality and release readiness. You will document and communicate any software issues found during both automated and manual testing, reproducing customer-reported bugs and working closely with Software Development Engineers to resolve these issues.
As you advocate for the vision of automation within the Enterprise portal team, you will contribute to the growth of the automated test framework, ensuring it evolves alongside the software releases. Your dedication and influence will be crucial in delivering high-quality software that meets user expectations.
