You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, with a focus on mentorship and career development. Your experience includes providing technical guidance and architectural oversight for complex systems, ensuring that your team builds scalable and maintainable software. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and designers to define and execute on the product roadmap.
You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively coach and mentor engineers through personalized development plans and actionable feedback. Your technical expertise allows you to guide your team in building high-quality software that enhances customer satisfaction and drives revenue growth.
What you'll do
As the Engineering Manager at Extend, you will actively coach and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their career growth through regular 1:1s and personalized development plans. You will provide technical guidance and architectural oversight for event-driven, service-oriented systems that power claim servicing, refunds, exchanges, and reverse logistics. Your role will involve collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and operations leaders to define the product roadmap and ensure alignment across teams.
You will be responsible for creating a supportive and collaborative team environment, where engineers feel empowered to innovate and contribute to the company's mission. Your leadership will be crucial in driving technical excellence and ensuring that the team delivers high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.
