You are skilled in identifying and assessing vulnerabilities in both infrastructure and code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address security issues.

You possess a deep understanding of attacker behaviors and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, which you leverage to model threats and enhance detection capabilities. Your experience includes writing and testing detections as code, ensuring that security programs are robust and effective. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.

What you'll do

As a Senior Security Operations Analyst at Extend, you will serve as a core member of the Security Operations team, responsible for monitoring and triaging alerts from various security platforms. You will conduct end-to-end investigations to identify, contain, and remediate threats and incidents, ensuring a timely and appropriate response to security events. Your proactive approach will involve identifying and assessing vulnerabilities in infrastructure and code, working alongside development and other cross-functional teams to address these issues effectively.

You will contribute to the end-to-end detection lifecycle by modeling attacker behaviors using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. Writing and testing detections as code will be a key part of your role, as you help to enhance the security posture of Extend's systems. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential as you drive security initiatives and foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
