Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs that solve complex problems. Your expertise in Figma allows you to craft intuitive interfaces that enhance user experiences, particularly in high-stakes environments like procurement. You are comfortable leading design projects from concept to execution, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you can influence outcomes through mentorship and craft.

You possess a deep understanding of design principles and methodologies, and you are skilled at conducting user research to inform your design decisions. Your ability to communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders and team members is one of your key strengths. You are passionate about creating designs that not only meet user needs but also align with business goals, driving success for the product and the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design for a major product domain at Fairmarkit, taking ownership of end-to-end design processes for high-impact areas. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that your designs are feasible and aligned with the overall product vision. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and iterating on designs based on user feedback and testing.

You will also mentor junior designers, helping them to develop their skills and elevate the quality of design across the team. Your work will directly impact how procurement teams interact with our platform, making their workflows more efficient and effective. You will be expected to set clear design direction and advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle.
