Job Description
Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in Information or Cyber Security, ideally within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. Your background includes hands-on experience with endpoint security, identity and access management (IAM), and security information and event management (SIEM) platforms. You possess a solid understanding of cloud security best practices and have actively participated in maintaining patch and vulnerability management programs. Your knowledge extends to auditing identity access and control within systems and services, and you have a good grasp of networking technologies.
You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and responding to various cyber threats. Your ability to communicate security guidance effectively to staff is one of your strengths, ensuring that security policies are understood and adhered to across the organization. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to security projects that enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will monitor systems for security threats and investigate incidents to ensure the integrity and availability of Fenderโs systems. You will lead and contribute to various security projects and programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement security measures that protect the organizationโs assets. Your responsibilities will include maintaining existing security platforms and identifying areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with identity and access control policies through regular audits.
You will provide security guidance to staff, helping them understand their role in maintaining a secure environment. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing security protocols that align with industry best practices. You will also be involved in training and educating team members on security awareness, fostering a culture of security within the organization.
