Overview

Fictiv is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily shipments and coordinate with manufacturing partners and logistics providers. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in logistics coordination, ideally within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. You understand the complexities of international shipping and customs regulations, and you are adept at preparing and verifying export documentation to ensure compliance. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can troubleshoot shipping delays or issues in real-time, ensuring on-time deliveries. Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to effectively liaise with manufacturing partners, third-party logistics providers, and internal teams.

You have a proactive mindset and are always looking for ways to optimize shipping processes and resolve operational bottlenecks. You appreciate the importance of aligning shipping priorities with finance and procurement teams, and you are comfortable providing shipment status updates to stakeholders. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, celebrating both wins and lessons learned.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and executing daily shipments from China to overseas destinations. You will coordinate with manufacturing partners and logistics providers to ensure that all shipments are executed smoothly and efficiently. You will prepare and verify all necessary export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Airway Bills, to comply with customs regulations. When shipping delays or issues arise, you will troubleshoot in real-time to ensure that deliveries remain on schedule.

You will also work closely with overseas offices, finance, and procurement teams to align shipping priorities and resolve any operational bottlenecks that may occur. Your role will involve proactive communication with stakeholders, providing them with updates on shipment statuses and any potential issues. You will contribute to building a world-class logistics operation that values the contributions of all team members and encourages applications from underrepresented groups.
