You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams and driving growth initiatives — your experience spans across product-led growth strategies and enterprise expansion. You understand the importance of building infrastructure that supports fast experimentation and are excited about shaping the future of design and collaboration.

You possess strong collaboration skills and can effectively partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and Sales — your ability to align engineering efforts with company-wide priorities is key to your success. You are passionate about creating an engineering organization that values learning and experimentation, ensuring that customer value is delivered at scale.

What you'll do

As the Director of Engineering, Growth at Figma, you will build and lead a multi-team organization responsible for the user journey through acquisition, activation, upgrades, and expansion. You will set strategic direction and ensure alignment with company-wide priorities, scaling teams through recruiting and organizational design. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, enabling your teams to experiment and iterate rapidly.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing engineering practices that support the growth of Figma’s platform — this includes overseeing the development of infrastructure that enhances the user experience and drives engagement. Your role will involve mentoring and guiding team members, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed in their roles.
