Overview

Filigran is seeking a Senior Product Designer to take ownership of the UX/UI for their core open-source cybersecurity products. You'll work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to improve usability and design new features. This role requires strong design skills and experience in user-centered design.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in product design, with a focus on UX/UI for complex products β€” your experience allows you to navigate technical constraints while delivering user-friendly designs. You are proficient in design tools like Figma and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of the user interface is polished and intuitive. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback that inform your design decisions.

You understand the importance of user-centered design and are adept at applying design system principles to maintain consistency across products. Your ability to analyze user signals and feedback helps you identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the products you design meet the needs of their users. You are passionate about creating impactful designs that enhance the user experience and contribute to the overall success of the product.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the UX/UI for OpenCTI and OpenAEV, two core open-source cybersecurity products. You will design new features and improvements, handling usability bugs and design iterations to enhance the user experience. Collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers, you will ensure that high-quality experiences are delivered from discovery to delivery. You will also work on reducing UI and UX debt, applying and respecting design system principles to maintain a cohesive look and feel across the products.

You will pay attention to user signals coming from the product, community, or internal teams, contributing to lightweight research that informs your design decisions. Your role will involve continuous collaboration with the Head of Design to align on design strategies and ensure that the products not only meet user needs but also adhere to the company's vision for cybersecurity solutions.

What we offer

Filigran offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a real impact in the cybersecurity ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative open-source solutions that are trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse backgrounds and perspectives in our team.
