Who you are

You are a highly experienced policy professional with a strong background in blockchain technology and digital identity. You have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with key policymakers, legislators, and regulators in the U.S. and Canada. Your passion for the digital asset space drives you to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to craft effective messages and delivery strategies that resonate with diverse stakeholders. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, product, and sales, to align strategic priorities with regulatory requirements. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances is essential for success in this role.

What you'll do

As the Policy Director for North America, you will be responsible for advancing Fireblocks' core mission of enabling secure interactions with digital assets. You will work closely with the in-house regulatory team to understand strategic priorities and inform the development of identity capabilities within the Fireblocks platform. Your role will involve cultivating relationships with key policymakers and regulators to advocate for favorable regulatory conditions for digital assets.

You will also collaborate with the Identity and Compliance Product teams to reduce friction in accessing and transferring crypto-assets, financial instruments, and payment funds. Your insights will help shape the company's approach to compliance and regulatory engagement, ensuring that Fireblocks remains at the forefront of the digital asset industry.
