You possess basic scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell and Python, which you will use to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be crucial as you monitor application health and track errors, exceptions, and anomalies in the system. You are committed to following defined incident escalation procedures and ensuring high availability of the SaaS platform.

What you'll do

As an Apprentice - Product Engineer at Five9, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based SaaS infrastructure. You will monitor the system for uptime, performance, and reliability, contributing to 24/7 operations. Your responsibilities will include tracking application health, logging and reporting errors, and following incident escalation procedures based on severity and SLA guidelines. You will also assist in maintenance activities and deployments, ensuring system stability and reliability.

You will collaborate with global and cross-functional teams, including engineering, support, and product, to document operational procedures and troubleshooting guides. This role will provide you with the opportunity to learn and adapt to evolving internal infrastructure and tooling, enhancing your technical skills and understanding of cloud operations. You will be encouraged to automate routine tasks, contributing to a more efficient operational workflow.
