You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with Product Engineering, Platform, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) leaders to deliver resilient cloud infrastructure at scale. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and teamwork.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for DevOps at Five9, you will lead a team responsible for building and continuously improving cloud platform capabilities. You will blend hands-on technical leadership with people and operational management, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality services that meet customer needs. You will oversee the development of CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and implement best practices for security and compliance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the roadmap for cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your role will involve mentoring team members, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating career development discussions to help your engineers reach their full potential.

You will also be responsible for monitoring system performance and reliability, responding to incidents, and implementing improvements based on lessons learned. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within the team.
