Your expertise includes architecting and implementing cloud-based data solutions, and you are well-versed in agile methodologies. You have a proven track record of interfacing with clients, particularly at the director level, to understand their strategic requirements and align your team's efforts accordingly. Your experience with DevOps tools and processes, including infrastructure as code and continuous deployment, sets you apart as a leader in the DataOps space.

What you'll do

As a DataOps Engineering Manager at Sigmoid, you will lead a team responsible for building and maintaining a highly scalable big data platform. You will work closely with clients, including Fortune 500 companies, to understand their data needs and ensure that your team delivers solutions that meet those requirements. Your role will involve overseeing the development and implementation of cloud data solutions, leveraging platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of operational excellence within your team, implementing best practices in data engineering and DevOps. This includes managing workloads, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability. You will also play a key role in client interactions, traveling to client locations as needed to strengthen relationships and gather feedback on your team's work.

In addition to technical leadership, you will focus on team development, conducting regular one-on-ones and performance reviews to help your team members grow in their careers.
