You have a solid background in site reliability engineering, with experience in monitoring and maintaining production systems. Your familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, allows you to effectively manage and optimize resources. You are comfortable working with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, which are essential for scalable deployments. Your experience with Linux systems enables you to navigate and manage server environments efficiently. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to enhance system reliability.

Desirable

Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus is a plus, as it helps in maintaining the health of production systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices will further enhance your contributions to the team. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with engineers and product managers to integrate reliability best practices into the product roadmap. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the availability, capacity, and throughput of Fivetran's production infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering teams to integrate reliability best practices into the product development lifecycle. Your contributions will include supporting the deployment pipeline and collaborating with senior SREs to ensure smooth operations. You will actively participate in incident response, helping to prioritize and resolve critical bugs identified by support or sales teams. Your goal is to maintain 100% availability of production infrastructure by implementing automation for scalable deployments. You will also engage in proactive monitoring to identify potential issues before they impact customers, ensuring a seamless experience for users of Fivetran's data platform.
