You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong background in analyzing large datasets and applying advanced statistical techniques to derive insights. Your expertise in SQL allows you to manipulate and query data effectively, enabling you to tackle diverse challenges in a growth-focused environment. You are skilled in data mining and have a proven track record of using quantitative analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Your experience in modeling and forecasting equips you to develop and implement models that predict key performance metrics, helping to assess actual performance against expectations. You thrive in cross-functional teams, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to drive impactful growth strategies. You are passionate about using data to empower users and improve their experiences, aligning with Flex's mission to enhance the rent payment process.

Desirable

Experience in the FinTech sector is a plus, as is familiarity with growth marketing strategies. You are comfortable with experimentation and A/B testing, which allows you to uncover trends and optimize user acquisition and retention efforts. A background in working with diverse teams and stakeholders will help you navigate the complexities of this role.

What you'll do

As a Staff Data Scientist on the Growth Marketing team, you will analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and insights that drive user acquisition and retention. You will develop and implement forecasting models to predict key performance metrics, ensuring that the team can assess their actual performance effectively. Your role will involve using quantitative analysis, data mining, and experimentation to uncover trends that inform decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into strategic initiatives. Your analytical expertise will be crucial in shaping growth strategies that maximize user engagement and satisfaction. You will also be responsible for presenting your findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring that data-driven insights are communicated effectively.
