What you'll do

As a Senior Global Operations Associate at Flexport, you will be the front line in ensuring that shipments move on time and that any exceptions are handled appropriately. You will support your team in managing mid to high escalations and complex movements, ensuring that all communications are handled delicately and tactfully. Your role will involve guiding your team to improve performance metrics, focusing on data quality and shipment milestone timeliness. You will follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and contribute to building scalable operational infrastructure that supports Flexport's mission of simplifying global trade.

You will collaborate closely with your manager to identify opportunities for operational enhancements and will play a key role in training and mentoring junior team members. Your insights will help shape the operational strategies that drive Flexport's success in the logistics industry. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring that your team's output meets the high standards expected by Flexport and its clients.
