Who you are

You have over 10 years of professional experience designing mobile applications, showcasing a portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in systemic design and advanced interaction design. Your ability to architect scalable frameworks and influence product direction is a key strength. You are committed to creating designs that are accessible, inclusive, and emotionally resonant, ensuring that user experiences are elevated across Flo’s app.

As a senior individual contributor, you tackle the most challenging design problems and set the quality bar for the team. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively across product, engineering, research, and content disciplines, raising craft excellence and contributing significantly to Flo’s overarching design vision. You understand the importance of user-centric design and are passionate about improving female health through innovative digital solutions.

Desirable

Experience with AI-powered applications or health-related products would be a plus, as well as familiarity with user research methodologies and data-driven design practices. You thrive in environments that value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and you are eager to bring your unique perspective to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of Flo’s digital health solutions. You will work within the User Centric stream on a 0→1 product initiative, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design strategies that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and iterating on designs based on user feedback and testing.

You will also be responsible for setting design standards and guidelines that ensure consistency and quality across the product. By leveraging your deep expertise in interaction design, you will influence product direction and contribute to the overall design vision of Flo. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that Flo remains at the forefront of digital health innovation.
