Registered Dietitian - Evenings and/or Weekends

Who you are

You are a compassionate and mission-driven Registered Dietitian (RD) who is available to work during the evenings and on weekends. You have a strong commitment to making a measurable impact on health equity, empowering individuals and families to live healthier lives through access, affordability, and education. You understand the importance of nutrition counseling and are eager to help underserved communities gain access to expert guidance and resources.

You possess the ability to deliver virtual Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and personalized care to members, many of whom are Medicaid participants or facing food insecurity. Your experience in nutrition counseling allows you to connect with clients effectively and provide them with the tools they need to navigate their dietary challenges. You are comfortable working in a remote environment and are dedicated to improving the health outcomes of those you serve.

What you'll do

As a Registered Dietitian at Foodsmart, you will join our growing Foodsmart Nutrition Network and deliver virtual nutrition counseling to members. You will work closely with individuals to assess their nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans that align with their health goals. Your role will involve providing education on healthy eating habits, budgeting for groceries, and utilizing local community resources to enhance food access.

You will collaborate with a national network of Registered Dietitians to ensure that members receive consistent and high-quality care. Your work will directly contribute to the mission of making nutrition care accessible to those who need it most, particularly in underserved communities. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families by guiding them towards healthier eating practices and lifestyle changes.
