Who you are

You are a student eager to gain practical experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the field of 3D printing. You are excited about the opportunity to work on independent projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical design, electrical, software, and materials teams. You have a portfolio of previous engineering work or projects that showcases your skills and creativity.

You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving abilities, which will help you in supporting end-to-end test and calibration equipment development. You are ready to engage in fixture design, fabrication, qualification, and preventive maintenance plans, ensuring that all processes run smoothly.

What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op, you will support the development of manufacturing processes for Formlabs products. You will project manage manufacturing builds, both in-house and at overseas vendors, and take ownership of technical troubleshooting of manufacturing line issues. You will co-develop methods, processes, procedures, and work instructions that are essential for building the next generation of 3D printing tools. Your role will involve working closely with various teams to ensure that all manufacturing processes are efficient and effective.
