Job Description
Who you are
You are a student passionate about material science or chemistry, eager to gain hands-on experience in a lab environment. You are comfortable working in a wet lab and have completed relevant research or coursework, particularly with polymers. Your familiarity with CAD programs, specifically SolidWorks, allows you to contribute effectively to the team. Additionally, you possess basic programming skills in Python, which will aid in your tasks. A background in organic chemistry or plastic engineering is a plus, enhancing your understanding of the materials you'll be working with.
What you'll do
As a Materials Intern at Formlabs, you will work closely with the Materials team in our lab, tackling various materials challenges. Your role will involve developing, formulating, and testing innovative materials that have not been printed with before. Each experiment you conduct will play a significant role in addressing new challenges in the 3D printing industry. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, gaining insights into the materials development process and contributing to the advancement of 3D printing technology.
What we offer
