You have a strong background in supply chain management and engineering, with experience in working directly with suppliers to enhance product quality and performance. Your analytical skills allow you to identify and qualify suppliers effectively, ensuring that they meet the technical requirements necessary for new product introductions. You are passionate about streamlining processes and optimizing supply chain strategies, which drives your success in this role.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to facilitate discussions between suppliers and the R&D team at Formlabs. Your ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships is key to securing optimal value and quality for the company. You are proactive in researching new manufacturing technologies and market intelligence, which helps you create robust supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals.

What you'll do
As a Supplier Industrialization Engineer at Formlabs, you will work directly with R&D to identify and qualify suppliers for new product introductions. You will own the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) in a New Product Introduction (NPI) Bill of Materials (BOM), managing supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution to secure optimal value, quality, and risk mitigation. Your role will involve facilitating communication of technical requirements between suppliers and the Formlabs R&D team, ensuring that all parties are aligned on expectations and deliverables.
You will proactively research new manufacturing technologies and market intelligence to create robust supply chain strategies that support the company's innovative product offerings. Your insights will help drive improvements in product quality and performance, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. You will also be responsible for monitoring supplier performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with various teams within Formlabs to ensure that supplier capabilities align with product development timelines and objectives. You will participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss project progress and address any challenges that arise during the supplier qualification process.
What we offer
At Formlabs, we offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $111,000 USD, along with equity in the form of RSUs.
