Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in robotic systems integration, with expertise in both firmware and hardware components. Your experience includes working with electro-mechanical systems, and you are comfortable managing subsystem requirements and tracking changes throughout the product development cycle. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, allowing you to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
You have proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, which you use to develop control algorithms and validate system performance. Your familiarity with tools like AutoCAD enables you to create and document visual descriptions of systems and subsystems. You understand the importance of quality assurance and are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet user needs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will bring together the firmware and hardware of various subsystems into a cohesive system, ensuring they operate optimally according to requirements. You will partner with system architects to define and refine control algorithms, as well as design test plans to validate subsystem and system-level requirements. Your responsibilities will include managing the integration of prototypes and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the integration process.
You will collaborate closely with design teams to address cross-disciplinary challenges and ensure that all components work seamlessly together. Your role will also involve continuous engineering for shipped products, where you will monitor performance and implement improvements based on user feedback. You will take ownership of subsystem requirements, ensuring that all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
