Forum Ventures is seeking a Corporate & Startup Law Attorney to advise startups on corporate law matters and help shape the future of legal services. You'll work directly with clients on entity formation, governance, and compliance.

Who you are
You are an experienced attorney with a focus on corporate law, particularly in the startup ecosystem. You have a strong understanding of entity formation, governance, and compliance, and you are passionate about leveraging technology to enhance legal services. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to building a firm culture that prioritizes client service and innovation.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively advise clients and negotiate complex agreements. Your experience includes structuring and negotiating venture capital financings, SAFEs, and convertible notes, demonstrating your ability to navigate the intricacies of startup funding. You are also knowledgeable about intellectual property strategies and are committed to protecting client innovations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will advise startups and growth companies on various corporate law matters, ensuring they are compliant across multiple jurisdictions. You will structure and negotiate venture capital financings and other funding instruments, playing a critical role in their growth journey. Additionally, you will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, employment contracts, and vendor agreements, ensuring that all legal documents align with client needs and industry standards.
You will collaborate closely with the founding attorney and contribute to building efficient, AI-enhanced legal workflows that improve service delivery. Your insights will help shape the firm's culture, processes, and client service standards, making a significant impact on how legal services are provided to startups. You will also have opportunities to contribute to thought leadership within the legal community, helping to democratize access to high-quality legal services for the startup ecosystem.
