Who you are
As a Corporate Counsel, you bring a strong background in commercial contract law and a passion for supporting business growth through effective legal strategies. You have experience negotiating, drafting, and managing a wide range of agreements, including vendor services, SaaS licensing, and data privacy contracts. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work closely with teams across Business Development, Revenue, Engineering, Product, and Finance, ensuring that legal considerations are integrated into business decisions. You understand the importance of balancing legal risks with business momentum, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact.
Desirable
Experience in the technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with data privacy and cybersecurity regulations. You are proactive in identifying potential legal issues and are skilled at developing solutions that align with business objectives. Your strong communication skills enable you to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts that are essential to SpotHero's operations. You will partner with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and manage legal and business risks associated with contracts, ensuring that they support the company's growth strategies. You will also develop and maintain contract systems and templates to streamline the contracting process. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in aligning legal agreements with business goals and facilitating efficient operations.
