You are a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in building scalable and reliable backend systems. With 5+ years of experience, you've tackled architectural challenges and have a deep understanding of how to optimize performance across various applications. Your expertise in Java and REST APIs allows you to create efficient solutions that enhance user experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features that meet customer needs. You are curious and eager to learn, always looking for innovative ways to improve existing systems and processes.
Desirable
Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You have a knack for mentoring junior engineers and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly makes you a valuable team member.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join the Guidelines team at Frontify, where your mission will be to enhance the platform's capabilities. You will work on the public API and the Brand SDK, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing backend services that support the evolving needs of our customers. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure that the features you develop align with user expectations and business goals. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and helping to maintain high coding standards within the team.
