Full Stack Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 1–2 years building LLM/GenAI features. Your strong skills in Python and TypeScript make you comfortable working across the full stack. You excel in applying AI-aided development practices in your workflows, and you have experience with LangChain or similar technologies, as well as vector databases like FAISS or Pinecone.

You are passionate about building clean, well-tested code and iterating quickly with product and design teams. You understand the importance of delivering production-ready UIs and APIs, and you are familiar with deploying and operating LLM/agent applications. Your entrepreneurial spirit aligns with Axios HQ’s mission to enhance communication through innovative software.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and ship LLM-powered features that change how teams communicate. You will build and evolve the flagship Axios HQ product end-to-end, ensuring that the tools you create are not only functional but also delightful to use. You will integrate models via AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and Vertex AI, applying LLMOps best practices such as versioning, evaluations, monitoring, and cost control.

You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to shape the AI strategy of Axios HQ. Your responsibilities will include delivering production-ready UIs and APIs using React and TypeScript, as well as FastAPI or Django Rest Framework. You will also be expected to ship clean, well-tested code and iterate quickly based on feedback from your team.
