As the first engineering hire in Washington, D.C., you are excited about the opportunity to shape the local engineering team and drive impactful projects. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the establishment of Gecko Robotics' engineering presence in Washington, D.C. You will be responsible for expanding the company's government-focused work, directly shaping how technology is delivered to strengthen critical national infrastructure. You will work closely with partners to identify valuable cross-disciplinary problems and design end-to-end solutions that address challenges in manufacturing, production velocity, and the availability of naval ships, submarines, and aircraft.

Your responsibilities will include developing and mentoring your team, ensuring they are equipped to tackle the unique challenges presented by government contracts. You will also be involved in proving the impact of the solutions you design and driving their adoption within the customer organizations. Your role will require you to be hands-on, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
