Who you are
You have a strong background in Linux systems and are experienced in optimizing high-performance hardware for trading systems. Your expertise in CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins and GitLab, allows you to automate workflows effectively. You understand the intricacies of network optimization and have hands-on experience with tuning Linux for ultra-low latency applications.
You are skilled in managing and scaling Linux-based build farms, utilizing tools like Slurm and LSF to handle computationally intensive tasks. Your troubleshooting abilities extend to hardware and software debugging, ensuring smooth operation of trading systems. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a culture of integrity and innovation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will architect CI/CD pipelines to automate synthesis, timing analysis, and bitstream generation for trading systems. You will optimize the Linux operating system for ultra-low latency, specifically configuring Solarflare/OpenOnload adapters to enhance network performance. Your responsibilities will include managing and scaling Linux-based build farms to support computationally intensive compiles using tools like Vivado and Quartus.
You will also be involved in troubleshooting board bring-up issues and debugging PCIe connections, ensuring that the trading systems operate at peak performance. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of Geneva Trading's trading platform, allowing the firm to maintain its competitive edge in the global markets.
