Who you are
You are an experienced Senior Marketplace Accountant with a strong background in managing high-volume accounting transactions. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable working at the intersection of accounting, payment operations, and system improvement. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to work effectively with large and complex data sets to ensure accuracy in marketplace flows.
You have expertise in SAP FICA and BRIM modules, which you use to perform account reconciliations according to month-end-close timelines. You take ownership of these reconciliations and are adept at conducting mass data analysis and transaction-level reviews. Your attention to detail helps you resolve discrepancies across marketplace financial flows efficiently.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage high-volume accounting transactions in SAP FICA and BRIM, reviewing postings end-to-end to ensure process accuracy. You will handle large datasets, identify issues, and support improvements in accounting processes. Your responsibilities will include performing account reconciliations, both regularly and on an ad-hoc basis, to maintain the integrity of financial data.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion improvements in accounting practices and payment operations. Your analytical expertise will be crucial in keeping marketplace flows accurate and scalable, contributing to the overall success of GetYourGuide's financial operations.
