What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Checkout team, you will be responsible for all hiring and performance management topics on the engineering side — this includes conducting interviews, onboarding new team members, and facilitating their professional growth through regular feedback and development opportunities. You will partner closely with your Product Manager to shape the roadmap and portfolio allocation, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering high-impact features that enhance the user experience.

You will lead the team in driving a major modernization of our tech stack, focusing on high-quality AI-first development and scalability — your technical expertise will guide the team in finding solutions to complex challenges that span across multiple services and platforms. You will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on strategic initiatives, ensuring that engineering efforts align with business objectives and customer needs.
