You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to propose innovative solutions that meet customer needs while driving measurable impact. You are also familiar with AI-first development practices and are eager to contribute to evolving these methodologies within your team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop the backend systems that power the checkout flow for GetYourGuide's website and apps. Your primary focus will be on creating secure and scalable solutions that facilitate a seamless user experience from activity selection to payment. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver working software that addresses these challenges.

You will also play a key role in the modernization of the tech stack, focusing on high-quality development practices that enhance productivity and code quality. As part of the Checkout team, you will contribute to the evolution of AI-first development, shaping best practices that will be adopted across the organization. Your work will directly impact the conversion rates and customer satisfaction, making travel experiences more accessible and enjoyable for users around the globe.
