GHD is seeking a Senior Analyst in Investment Accounting to support the reconciliation of investment balances and ensure accuracy for GAAP and STAT reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in investment accounting.

Who you are
You have a strong background in investment accounting, with experience in reconciling investment balances and ensuring compliance with GAAP and statutory reporting requirements. You understand the importance of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and are adept at bridging operations and accounting functions. Your analytical skills allow you to identify discrepancies and support process enhancements effectively.
You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, supporting cross-functional initiatives that aim to improve the delivery of investment results. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to work closely with various teams to achieve common goals. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards in your work.
Desirable
Experience with Clearwater and GL systems is a plus, as is familiarity with investment-related reconciliations. A background in financial services or insurance can enhance your candidacy, as well as any relevant certifications in accounting or finance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will assist with the preparation of investment-related reconciliations for US GAAP and statutory reporting purposes. You will support the Investment Accounting team by ensuring that all investment activity is accurately recorded and reported. Your responsibilities will include reviewing reconciliations, identifying discrepancies, and working with team members to resolve any issues.
You will also play a key role in supporting cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing processes related to investment accounting. This may involve collaborating with other departments to redesign workflows and improve the accuracy and efficiency of reporting. You will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the investment accounting function, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of the organization.
