Who you are

You have proven experience overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Your leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, as you enjoy guiding teams and improving processes in a fast-paced environment. You are detail-oriented and organized, thriving in a deadline-driven atmosphere, particularly within the agriculture or crop management industry.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and oversee the AP and AR departments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all accounting operations. You will manage day-to-day activities including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing workflows and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls. You will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, management, and external partners to ensure seamless accounting operations. Additionally, you will provide guidance, training, and mentorship to AP/AR staff, supporting their professional development. You will also support month-end close activities and reporting as needed.
