You are an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in financial operations and a passion for driving accounting excellence. You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy balancing high-level financial strategy with day-to-day accounting leadership. Your expertise in GAAP ensures that you can prepare and review financial statements accurately and efficiently.

You have a proven track record of overseeing daily accounting operations, including general ledger management and month-end close processes. Your ability to manage and improve internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures is key to ensuring compliance and efficiency within the organization. You are also skilled in mentoring accounting staff, supporting their professional development and performance management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the Controller in overseeing daily accounting operations and assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. You will manage internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency, while also partnering with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to provide financial insights and cost analysis.

You will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making, and coordinate external audits while supporting regulatory reporting requirements. Your role will also involve monitoring fixed assets, inventory accounting, and cost accounting processes, driving process improvement initiatives, and supporting system implementations or enhancements.
