What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Commerce Data & ML team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining production ML models that support GoDaddy's Commerce division. You will collaborate with the Data Science team to build and optimize machine learning pipelines that enhance customer insights and prevent fraud. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of risk models, such as Transaction Risk Scoring and Merchant Risk Models, ensuring that GoDaddy can provide secure and tailored experiences for its customers.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable ML systems that can handle both batch and real-time inference. This includes working with technologies like SageMaker Pipelines and Tecton feature store to create reliable data pipelines that support data-driven marketing initiatives. You will also engage in developing prompt engineering workflows for chatbots, contributing to the evolution of GoDaddy's AI capabilities.

Your role will involve continuous improvement of existing models and systems, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards. You will participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic discussions around the future of machine learning at GoDaddy, helping to shape the direction of the team's efforts.
