Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure. You believe in end-to-end automation using GitOps and have a solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals, including computer networks and virtualization. You enjoy collaborating with talented engineering teams to create robust and cost-effective private cloud infrastructures. Your experience includes participating in SRE/DevOps activities, releases, and on-call support to ensure a delightful experience for customers. You are proficient in automation tools and have a passion for contributing to open-source projects.
Desirable
Experience with large-scale distributed systems and a background in troubleshooting code or infrastructure issues would be beneficial. Familiarity with cloud platforms and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also desirable traits.
What you'll do
In this role, you will collaborate with engineering teams to build, run, and support GoDaddy's globally distributed private cloud infrastructure. You will develop and maintain infrastructure deployment automation using tools like Puppet and Ansible, ensuring that systems are efficient and reliable. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting infrastructure issues and providing support during on-call activities. You will also contribute to open-source projects as needed, enhancing your skills and the tools used by the team.
