You possess a deep understanding of distributed databases and cloud architecture, particularly with Kubernetes. You are comfortable debugging live site events and conducting postmortem analyses to improve service reliability.

You have experience in developing automation platforms that manage infrastructure rollouts, ensuring seamless operations across multiple cloud providers. Your focus on telemetry optimization helps in providing relevant data for debugging and enhancing overall customer experience. You are proactive in diagnosing issues on the platform, leveraging your knowledge of the backend infrastructure and query engines.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Site Reliability Engineer at SingleStore, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and scaling our managed service offerings. You will develop automation platforms to manage infrastructure rollouts across cloud providers, ensuring that our services are reliable and performant. Your work will involve optimizing our telemetry platform to identify customer-impacting events, providing the necessary data to drive debugging efforts.

You will partner closely with the engineering team to optimize the performance of our services for cloud architecture. This collaboration will involve debugging live site events and conducting follow-up postmortem and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. You will participate in an SLA-driven on-call rotation, which may include after-hours and weekend responsibilities, ensuring that our services remain available and reliable.

Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, as you systematically identify and fix issues that affect our users. You will be at the forefront of implementing SRE practices across the company, helping to drive a culture of reliability and performance.
