GoodLeap is hiring a Director of Product for their Fraud and Risk function. You'll lead the strategy and execution to protect consumer products and payments while ensuring a seamless user experience. This role requires systems-level thinking and experience in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Who you are

You have a strong background in product management, particularly in fraud and risk, with a proven track record of architecting systems and controls that protect consumer products. Your experience in fintech has equipped you with the ability to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a focus on user experience. You possess systems-level thinking and hands-on rigor, allowing you to operate at a director-level altitude while executing with precision. You are adept at aligning partners around the right signals and defenses, ensuring that your strategies are well-communicated and understood across the organization.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable making data-driven decisions that impact the bottom line. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, encouraging your team to think critically about fraud and risk challenges. You understand the importance of maintaining a seamless user journey while implementing necessary controls to mitigate risks. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels ensures that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.

Desirable

Experience with AI-powered applications and developer tools is a plus, as is familiarity with consumer payments and credit products. You may also have a background in scaling teams and capabilities as the business grows, which will be crucial in this role.

What you'll do

As the Director of Product, you will lead the fraud and risk function for GoodLeap's consumer products. You will be responsible for architecting the systems and controls that protect our credit products and consumer payments. Your role will involve developing strategies that reduce losses while enhancing the homeowner experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that fraud and risk considerations are integrated into product development processes.

You will own the roadmap for fraud and risk initiatives, driving execution and ensuring that your strategies are effectively implemented. Your ability to analyze complex data and identify trends will be essential in shaping the direction of the fraud and risk function. You will also be responsible for aligning partners around the right signals and defenses, ensuring that everyone understands the importance of these initiatives.
