Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in the financial services sector, where you've successfully led product initiatives from concept to launch. Your background includes a strong understanding of identity verification and anti-money laundering processes, enabling you to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and compliance. You are data-driven, using metrics to inform product decisions and measure success. Your ability to blend technical, data, and design perspectives helps you create products that are not only functional but also user-friendly. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
What you'll do
As the Senior Product Manager for Fraud at Plaid, you will take end-to-end ownership of the Identity Verification (IDV) and Monitor (AML) products. You will set the strategic direction for these products, ensuring they meet the needs of both users and regulatory requirements. Your role involves driving execution by collaborating with engineering teams to develop and enhance the fraud platform, ensuring it is accurate, reliable, and scalable. You will work closely with Plaid's fraud founders to align on product vision and strategy, and you will be responsible for defining measurable outcomes to track the success of your initiatives. You will also engage with customers to gather feedback and insights, using this information to iterate on product features and improve user experience. Your leadership will be crucial in raising the standard for fraud prevention in the financial ecosystem, making a significant impact on how users interact with their finances.
