Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 8 years of experience in business development, consultative sales, and partnerships. Your background includes working closely with product and engineering teams, and you possess the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Japanese, which is essential for this customer-facing role. You have a strong understanding of the enterprise mobile industry, including devices, telcos, and mobile device management (MDM/UEM), and you are adept at navigating complex partnership structures.
Your experience includes managing partner relationships and advocating for your ecosystem internally. You are skilled at identifying opportunities and resolving issues, and you have a proven track record of influencing and guiding partners, including carriers and global system integrators. You excel in public speaking and can deliver executive-level presentations in Japanese, effectively representing Google in agreement discussions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support a broad spectrum of partners in key areas such as training, enablement, technology adoption, and go-to-market strategies. You will act as the primary escalation point of contact across the ecosystem, helping to establish Google as a leader in B2B. Your responsibilities will include navigating the complexities associated with building a presence from the ground up and exhibiting a high degree of internal and external entrepreneurship. You will work closely with partners to inform product direction and ensure success in this critical growth market.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance the Android Enterprise offerings, ensuring that partners are equipped to bring the best of Android to their clients. Your role will involve developing and managing partnerships, influencing product direction, and driving initiatives that align with Google's strategic goals. You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing challenges within the partner ecosystem, ensuring that all parties are aligned and working towards common objectives.
