Google is hiring a Cloud Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence to build machine learning solutions and data pipelines. You'll work with Python, Scala, and R, and collaborate with various teams to enhance Google Cloud Platform offerings.

Job Description

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, and have practical experience in building machine learning or data science solutions. Your programming skills in Python, Scala, or R are complemented by a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. You are comfortable with customer-facing roles and possess excellent communication and listening skills, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders.

You have experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, and distributed machine learning. Your familiarity with data analytics and visualization techniques allows you to derive insights from complex datasets. You are knowledgeable about core data science techniques and have a grasp of data warehousing concepts, including ETL/ELT processes and reporting tools. Additionally, your understanding of cloud computing encompasses virtualization, multi-tenant infrastructures, and content delivery networks.

Desirable

Experience in software development, professional services, or technical consulting is a plus. Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and the ability to architect and roll out new technology initiatives will set you apart. You are adaptable and willing to travel up to 30% of the time, demonstrating your commitment to supporting Google’s customers.

What you'll do

As a Cloud Engineer at Google, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers transform their businesses with cutting-edge technology. You will identify new product features and gaps, providing guidance on existing product issues while collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers to influence the roadmap of Google Cloud Platform.
