Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture, particularly in customer-facing or support roles. Your expertise includes architecting solutions that integrate AI models with enterprise data sources, utilizing patterns like RAG, Text-to-SQL, and semantic search. You are proficient in coding with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or Java, enabling you to demo, prototype, or workshop integration patterns effectively with customers.

You possess a strong background in search systems, including retrieval, ranking, and search quality tuning. Your experience includes presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders, showcasing your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. You are familiar with iPaaS, API gateways, and ESBs in a cloud environment, which enhances your capability to develop robust solutions.

Your knowledge extends to observability constructs such as distributed tracing, logging, and audit logging for AI applications. You understand application integration governance and security, including OAuth2 flows and short-lived credential management. Additionally, you have a grasp of integration patterns using OpenAPI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI agents with business systems and API gateways.

You are also familiar with functional evaluation metrics used to assess model quality and agent quality, which is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness of the solutions you design. You thrive in environments where you can advocate for Google Cloud, building strong customer relationships and demonstrating the value of cloud computing.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering management systems to document, prioritize, and drive the resolution of customer feature requests and issues. Your responsibilities will include traveling to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud.

You will leverage your technical expertise to guide customers in implementing AI solutions that meet their specific needs. This involves working directly with clients to understand their challenges and providing tailored solutions that enhance their operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for conducting workshops and training sessions to empower customers in utilizing Google Cloud technologies effectively.

Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest advancements in cloud technology and AI, ensuring that you can provide the most relevant and effective solutions to customers. You will be instrumental in fostering long-term relationships with clients, helping them navigate their cloud journey and achieve their business objectives.
