Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field, and at least 10 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems. Your expertise includes performing statistical analysis and coding in languages such as Python, R, and SQL. If you hold a Master's degree, you may qualify with 8 years of experience instead. You are passionate about data and enjoy weaving stories with meaningful insights that help your partners make better decisions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with teams in Engineering and Product Management to provide analytics expertise.

Your experience has equipped you with a deep understanding of measurement and analytics, particularly in the context of performance advertising. You are skilled at developing process improvements and recommendations, and you have a knack for overseeing project timelines across cross-functional teams. You take pride in mentoring and developing the capabilities of your colleagues in your area of specialization, ensuring that the team grows together.

Desirable

A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with 12 years of experience in analytics. You have a strong background in using data to drive strategic decisions and are comfortable communicating complex findings to diverse audiences. Your analytical mindset allows you to approach problems creatively and effectively, making you a valuable asset to any team.

What you'll do

As a Staff Product Data Scientist at Google, you will serve as an analytics expert, providing quantitative support and market understanding to various partners throughout the organization.
