Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in low-level systems programming languages such as C or C++. Your background includes working with embedded operating systems, and you possess a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, either in an academic or industry setting. You are proficient in performance analysis, systems data analysis, and debugging, and you have experience developing accessible technologies. Your skills in code and system health diagnosis and resolution, as well as software test engineering, are well-honed, allowing you to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.

You may hold a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, which enhances your qualifications for this role. You have a keen interest in contributing to existing documentation or educational content, adapting it based on product updates and user feedback. Your ability to triage product or system issues and debug them by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations is a key strength.

In this role, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions that empower Google customers with breakthrough capabilities and insights. You will work closely with the AI and Infrastructure team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI models and delivering unparalleled computing power to global services. Your responsibilities will include writing product or system development code, ensuring accuracy, testability, and efficiency in your contributions. You will also be involved in analyzing and resolving product or system issues, ensuring high-quality performance and reliability in the software you develop.
