Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience programming in C++ or Python. Your background includes working with performance and large-scale systems, data analysis, and visualization tools. You possess a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, either in an academic or industry setting, and have experience developing accessible technologies. You are proficient in diagnosing and resolving code and system health issues, as well as software test engineering. Your technical expertise allows you to manage project priorities and deadlines effectively.
Desirable
A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields is preferred. You have additional experience with debugging and performance analysis, which enhances your ability to contribute to complex projects. Your versatility and leadership qualities make you an ideal candidate for tackling new problems across the full-stack as technology continues to evolve.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will work on critical projects that require innovative solutions to handle information at massive scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop next-generation technologies that change how users connect and interact with information. Your responsibilities will include contributing to existing documentation and educational content, adapting it based on product updates and user feedback.
